What it's REALLY about

To me a wedding is about
the life long commitment you plan to make to a person you love unconditionally. You love this person so much that you're ready to, before immediate friends & family, show, prove, and promise devotion to that on person.

The planning of a wedding should not be stressful or overwhelming. It shouldn't even be a lengthy process.

It seems so simple to me.

But I see others stress about everything; the dress, the photographer, the center pieces, the food, the cake.... Blah blah blah... Etc etc

That stuff, in all honesty, has nothing to do with why you're getting married.

People do that type of stuff for their guests. They want to show off or up. They want to have the best wedding ever. Better than what they've seen before... But what they can afford.+

Most brides (NOT/NEVER grooms) act like they're planning a strategic yet covert operation.

No, you don't need to try on 2,000 dresses to find the one you love.*
No, you don't need to spend a gazillion dollars on photos n video.
No, you don't need to invite ppl that you don't ever talk to.

Your wedding is not going to MAKE you have a better Marriage.
You and your fiancé's love, understanding, and devotion to one another is going to MAKE your marriage.

*(if u find it stick with it. Don't go to more stores. You're always going to find something else if u keep looking)

+(it also doesn't make sense to go into debt or break the bank for a wedding)
